If everyone liked change, our world now would be a totally different world. A lot of people don’t like change because they are used to how things are in their life at the moment and changing something could make them feel insecure. I’ve learned to embrace change because change always happens in life whether it’s you changing how you want to act, who you want to associate with, or what lifestyle you want to have.
People no matter who they are or what they mean to you at the moment, will come and go through your life constantly which is not a bad thing at all. Nothing is suppose to be in your life forever. So live in the moment and appreciate what you have in your life right now before you wish you had done something different while you had the chance.
Change helps us grow into the people we want to become which can be a major driver of personal, and even professional, growth and development. Change can open your mind because you’re up for what’s new which makes you want to go out of your comfort zone and explore new things about yourself which could lead you to greater opportunities. When you become “too comfortable” in your own situation, it can be much more difficult to understand what others might be going through. Change reminds you to be kind when you’re considering the choices other people may make.
By altering the way you live your life, even in a small way, change can present opportunities that can have a domino effect, providing you with more choices than you ever dreamed possible—so you can create a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Like any new habit, embracing change takes some practice. However, the outcome of change leads you to a better you than you were yesterday.
